We’re hosting a series of peer-to-peer sessions, called Climate Dialogues, to give our members the opportunity to share best practice and experiences of climate change action in the boardroom
Upcoming Climate Dialogues
These virtual discussion groups will provide a place to connect with fellow non-executive directors (NEDs) and explore ways you can support your businesses with this complex task.
Whether you are new to the topic or already have experience in this area, you are welcome to join the Climate Dialogues. Please note that some of the sessions listed below are designed for specific board roles.
The Climate Dialogues are for non-executive director members of Chapter Zero only. If you are not a member, find out more and register here.
SME boards: Achieving meaningful change
Date: 14 September 2021
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM BST
This peer-to-peer session is reserved for NED members of Chapter Zero who sit on boards of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In this third instalment for SME NEDs, members will have the opportunity to discuss how their boards can avoid greenwashing and help to achieve meaningful change through climate governance best practice.
Topics for discussion will include:
- How can the board prepare the business to implement its net-zero strategy?
- Is the composition of SME boards changing to ensure net-zero targets are met?
- To what extent is the climate strategy embedded into day-to-day employee activities, and has this really enabled effective company-wide change?
Due to the interactive nature of the Climate Dialogues there is a limit to the number of participants we can host at this session. Each registration will be reviewed based on the information provided.
